Varant graduated from Watertown High School in 2010 as a member of the National Honor Society and Cum Laude Society. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his undergraduate career, Varant was also a member of Pi Tau Sigma (the Mechanical Engineering Honor Society) and Tau Beta Pi (the Engineering Honor Society). He was a research assistant at both Boston University’s and MIT’s Nano Heat-Transfer Laboratories as an undergraduate.
Varant grew up in Watertown, MA and has lived there for over 20 years. During his spare time, he loves to exercise, play soccer, and explore Boston. He enjoys showing his students real-life applications of topics to further interest them and to instill a passion of learning.
