Shannon graduated from Yale College in 2016 with a B.A. in History of Science, History of Medicine and Public Health. During her time in college, Shannon spent her time as a member of the Yale Women's Varsity Soccer team, worked on Alzheimer's disease clinical trials, and volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of New Haven. Since college, she has pursued her interest in researching neurodegenerative diseases by studying Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) at Boston University.
Shannon grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, which cultivated a strong foundation for being a huge Boston sports fan. She enjoys reading, baking, and traveling, especially to Ireland where her sister lives and where she has dual-citzenship.
