Megan graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016. She then earned her Master of Music degree from the Boston Conservatory in 2018. During her undergraduate career in North Carolina, Megan cultivated her passion for English literature, poetry, and creative writing. She channeled that passion into her work in the musical arts. Megan's love of literature continued to grow and she used those skills to offer editing and proofreading to students at the Boston Conservatory for their academic papers and graduate theses. She is currently pursuing her post graduate studies at the Boston University in their Opera Institute where she also serves as a graduate assistant to the music faculty.
Megan grew up in Seattle where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and coffee. Her mother and grandmother, both English teachers, instilled in her a deep love of Shakespeare and classic novels. At age 18, she spent 6 months in Seville, Spain learning how to speak Spanish and dance Flamenco. Megan now enjoys baking, snuggling her cat Felix, and meeting for her monthly book club with her best friend Alyssa.
