Matt has worked as a math and science tutor with Signet for the past 9 years. A Boston transplant, he grew up in Chicago, and moved east to go to college at MIT. While at MIT, he worked as a teaching assistant for two courses: a course on Newtonian mechanics and a course on forces, fields and flows in biological systems. He also worked as a tutor for MIT's introductory biology course for three years, and led an EMT certification course for MIT students during his junior year. He joined the Signet team in 2011, and has enjoyed working with high school and university students on an array of math and science courses.
Outside of Signet, he's a pediatrics resident with an interest in critical care. He’s a runner, reader, and former rower. And when he has some downtime, he loves exploring the bakeries around Boston.
