Matthew Kamm graduated cum laude with a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from Brandeis University in 2009. After several years working on research and conservation of wild birds with Mass Audubon, he obtained his Ph.D in Biology from Tufts University in 2019.
Born and raised in West Long Branch, NJ, Matt moved to Massachusetts for his undergraduate career and has lived here ever since. He is an avid birder and outdoor educator, and has participated in tropical forest restoration in Guna Yala, Panama. He also enjoys science fiction, swimming, and board games.
