Matt is a statistician, health sciences researcher, and university instructor with seven years of experience. Matt has been coaching test takers since 2009 and has helped hundreds of students prep for the GRE, MCAT, GMAT, and various other standardized tests, both in one-on-one and in classroom settings. In addition to teaching, Matt has written and contributed to test prep review books and course materials. He holds degrees from UC- San Diego (with distinction in research and university service) and Tufts University, which gave him a first-hand look at the process of applying to and succeeding at grad school. Matt aspires to be a research professor in public health and medicine. His current research focuses on the intersection of public economics and health policy.
Matt lives in Cambridge, but he grew up in southern California. In addition to reading, writing, and teaching, his favorite activities are watching sports and movies, running, playing lacrosse, and listening to NPR.
