Jack graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi, and Chi Omega Lambda. In addition to obtaining book prizes for both organic and physical chemistry, Jack was selected for the Jeffrey Chance Memorial Award for excellence in chemistry and successfully published his senior thesis in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. Jack attended graduate school at UC Berkeley, finishing with an MA in Molecular and Cell Biology. He recently worked at Boston Children's Hospital, doing clinical and translational research in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Jack currently attends the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania on a 4-year, full-tuition Twenty First Century merit scholarship.
Jack spent several years teaching and tutoring subjects like general chemistry, organic chemistry, and human physiology at Vassar College and UC Berkeley. He interned at Acetylon Pharmaceuticals in Boston, MA, and was involved in clinical research in the department of orthopedics at Boston Children's Hospital. A deep passion for teaching is what drew Jack to Signet.
A "Jack of all trades," his interests include juggling, snowboarding, beatboxing, handstand walking, philosophizing, and debating parliamentary-style.
