Evan has been a Financial Institution Examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since graduating college in 2016. His main responsibility is to identify and analyze key financial risks at different banks and ensure that the management team can monitor and control these risks. His major in economics and training in accounting and finance prepared him well for the role and are still important in his day-to-day activities.
Evan graduated from Brandeis University with a BA in Economics and History along with a minor in business. His major GPA was above 3.7, graduating Cum Laude, and he was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta Society for History. On the side, he taught financial accounting, giving lectures and holding 1-on-1 teaching sessions. It is this experience that inspired him to continue teaching through Signet. While Studying abroad in Scotland, he attended the University of Edinburgh and took History and Philosophy courses. Evan graduated high school from Kimball Union Academy with a 3.7 GPA and received Cum Laude Honors along with an AP Scholar distinction.
Evan is originally from New York City but moved to Vermont when he was 14. He has been living in Boston since graduation and may now consider it his true home, but the jury is still out on that one. Evan enjoys trying new foods, discussing film, and traveling (post-COVID) in his free time.
