Elizabeth is passionate about both international relations and higher education. She began her academic career at Boston College, where she received a BA in international studies with a concentration in ethics and social justice and a minor in history. She went on to receive her MA in liberal studies and international affairs through the Liberal Studies Program at Georgetown University, where she published a paper and wrote her thesis on the impact of graduate-level academic exchanges on the bilateral relationship between the United States and Vietnam and on the higher education system in Vietnam.
Elizabeth volunteered as a student in the Boston College Office of Undergraduate Admissions and worked in graduate admissions at Georgetown University for four years. She currently works as a Manager for the Global Experience Office at Harvard Business School. Elizabeth loves working with students of all ages and helping them explore education and career opportunities.
Elizabeth loves to run, cook, travel, and do anything outdoors. She has completed three marathons – Chicago 2016, Chicago 2012 and Boston 2007 – and a handful of half marathons and road races. She is a displaced Chicagoan but is enjoying her time in Boston. She has family members in every corner of the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii, and in her free time can be found visiting them.
