Amy graduated with high honors from Harvard University in 2012 (GPA: 3.96/4.0) and Harvard Medical School in 2016. She is currently pursuing a dermatology residency at UCSF. Amy has had 4 years of experience tutoring students in both the old MCAT and the new MCAT (beginning 1/2015), and provides a high-yield MCAT prep course that covers every topic on the MCAT in detail and includes over 2500 MCAT practice questions. In addition, Amy has worked with a number of students on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK tutoring.
In addition to MCAT and USMLE tutoring, Amy specializes as an admissions consultant for entering medical school. As a member of the Harvard pre-medical committee for 3 years, Amy has advised dozens of students on entering medical school, from course selection to MCAT prep to extracurricular advice. She has also worked with many students on editing and polishing their personal statements and secondary essays, as well as interview preparation. Students that Amy has worked with have been offered admission to medical school at Cornell, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, and Yale, among others.
Amy loves research and science and has been involved in numerous basic and clinical research projects in dermatology, medical education, and diabetes, all of which have lead to first-author publications. Outside of medicine, she loves watching movies, checking out new restaurants, and traveling.
