Chemistry Tutoring

The Chemistry tutors at Signet, many of whom have PhDs in chemistry and related subjects, have demonstrated their skills in chemistry through success in their coursework and extensive tutoring and teaching experience.

We have tutors who can aid with all levels and types of chemistry, from high school to college-level inorganic and organic chemistry classes, to more advanced courses such as physical chemistry.

In addition to helping advanced chemistry students, Signet tutors also specializes in helping students who do not focus primarily on science succeed in their chemistry courses and standardized exams (such as the MCAT or the SAT Chemistry Subject Test). And, rather than focusing on rote memorization, Signet tutors help students understand how the fundamentals of chemistry apply to everyday situations—a much more important skill for long-term success in chemistry. Whether a student needs help understanding material covered in class or wants to explore concepts further, Signet can arrange productive and inspiring tutoring sessions.

Signet tutors have deep familiarity with virtually any topic in chemistry, and all standardized tests in chemistry, including Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), SAT II Chemistry, and the MCAT. Signet chemistry tutors can help their students learn how to master not only their chemistry classes and content but also these often tricky exams.
