Social media is ubiquitous in today’s society, but that doesn’t make it harmless.
That’s computer scientist Cal Newport’s argument for quitting all forms of social media. Newport is one of our favorite experts, author of several great books on education. In this TED Talk, he myth-busts the three most common objections to giving up social media; he also highlights the potential dangers of using these platforms.
