Scheduling
How to book, change, and manage your sessions
1Session Scheduling
- All scheduling is done through our client portal.
- For urgent changes, please communicate directly with your tutor, coach, or consultant.
2Session Changes & No-Shows
- Signet requires 48+ hours' notice for:
- Rescheduling
- Changing session duration
- Cancellations
- Late changes (under 48 hours) incur full session charge.
- No-shows (15+ minutes late without notice) incur full session charge.
- Exceptions are considered case by case.
- Advance notice improves the chance of accommodation.
Billing
How invoicing, billable hours, and scheduled time work
1Invoicing
- US-based clients: Invoiced every two weeks for services delivered in that time period.
- Payment methods can be managed in our client portal.
- ACH payments returned due to insufficient funds incur a $10 fee.
- Late payments incur a penalty that will continue to accrue until the invoice is paid in full.
2Billable Hours
- All session time is billable.
- Offline work — including but not limited to essay editing, proofreading, and college research — is billable at the tutor's full rate.
- Stakeholder conversations beyond 15 minutes per week are also billable at the tutor's full rate.
3Billing for Scheduled Time
- Initial schedule set based on student's goals and needs.
- Sessions billed in full unless canceled 48+ hours in advance.
- Changes to session time or frequency require mutual agreement.
- Exceptions are considered on a case by case basis.

1Background Checks
- All Signet tutors must pass a background check before working with clients.
2Confidentiality
- Academic records, performance, and personal/billing information are strictly private.
- Client information is never sold, rented, or distributed.
3Graded Assignments
- Tutors help students prepare but do not complete assignments for them.
- Students should attempt work beforehand and identify specific challenges.
- Tutors will guide through similar problems or review tested concepts.
- This policy applies to homework, take-home/online exams, quizzes, and written work.
4Satisfaction Guarantee
- We offer a full refund if you are unsatisfied after your first session with a tutor, and we will continue working to find the right tutor for you.
- We offer no guarantees on results (grades, scores, college acceptances, etc.), but we are fully committed to client satisfaction.
